"Today's real luxury is the land".

A native of Rouen, Jean-Rémi set down his knives in Courchevel more than 10 years ago.

After working at L'Hôtel de Ville (Switzerland), La Chèvre d'Or (France) and reaching for the stars at the K2 Palace, he is now in charge of the Pinturault family's kitchen at the Hôtel Annapurna.

The rigour of working in a brigade, the demand for accurate cooking, delicate seasoning and the finesse of preparation have led him to flourish alongside the greatest.

His cuisine gives pride of place to generous vegetal touches, a hallmark of sustainable gastronomy. In a constant quest for umami, his dishes are balanced in a frolic of flavours and textures, a bold reflection of Tarin traditions.

3 new restaurants in the chef's colours have been opened: "Alpage", "Guinguette" and "La Ferma".
