Courchevel, 1972, Christiane and André Pinturault, already owners and managers of the Les Sherpas hotel, decided to build a second establishment. Entrepreneurs at heart, they created the first "new generation" luxury hotel. After two summers of complex construction, the hotel was finally inaugurated in December 1974.
Over the years, Claude asserted his audacity and continued to develop the hotel, notably through the creation of the first suites and the general renovation of the establishment in a more contemporary style.
To continue the hotel's tradition, Sandra Pinturault, Claude's daughter, joined the team in 2013. A woman of vision, she initiated major renovation projects: restoration of the wellness area, the ski room, the teenagers' games room, the hotel corridors, creation of the kids club...
More than 48 years have passed since the Hôtel Annapurna opened, and today it is one of only two luxury hotels in Courchevel still owned by the founding family.
